Idukki Diocese's Mission of Wellbeing
At Idukki Diocese, we've embarked on a remarkable journey to nurture lives, uplift spirits, and support our community. Our wellbeing initiatives are a testament to our commitment to create a world where hope, health, and happiness are accessible to all.
Care & Cure!
PROJECT HEAL
Extending Healing Hands
May 2023 marked the inception of ‘Project Heal’, our endeavoring effort to provide medical aid to the underprivileged in our Diocese, alongside monthly financial assistance of ₹1000, healing hearts and restoring hope.
PROJECT EMPOWER
Empowerment in Action
PROJECT FUTURE
Igniting Ambitions
‘Project Future’ is a doorway to brighter tomorrows. We planned to support 10 ambitious students each year, turning their aspirations into realities through financial aid for education. Exceeding Expectations, 230% More Lives Touched Than Planned.
PROJECT SHELTER
Housing Happiness
Initially focused on the maintenance and safeguarding already existing five homes. ‘Project Shelter’ has expanded its vision to encompass not only maintaining but also to construct new homes. Our mission is to ensure that no one is without a place to call home.
PROJECT GOLDEN YEARS
Honouring Age
‘Project Golden Year’ rekindles the flame of dignity and care. As ‘Karunabhavan‘ reopens, we offer indigent elderly individuals a warm haven to celebrate the golden years of their lives with respect and love
PROJECT UNITE
Cherished Unions
This project extends a hand to 5 brides, providing each with a substantial contribution of ₹1 Lakh. This financial support goes toward wedding expenses, ensuring that they have the opportunity to enjoy this special moment without the heavy burden of expense.
PROJECT ROOTED WINGS
Strengthening Roots
This project supports underdeveloped parishes, grants spiritual organizations, and develops infrastructure at our Diocesan Headquarters. We are strengthening our roots and expanding our reach to build a vibrant future for our community.
PROJECT ENRICH
Strengthening Service
In May 2023, the diocese embarked on an inspiring journey of spiritual and financial well-being, known as ‘Project Enrich.’ This initiative is a testament to our commitment to support and empower the priests and acolytes who play a crucial role in our spiritual community.
Through monthly deposits of ₹1500 for priests and ₹1000 for acolytes into their postal accounts, we are strengthening the financial foundation of these devoted individuals.
‘Project Enrich’ goes beyond financial support. It’s a holistic approach that encompasses the well-being of priests and acolytes. We provide them with resources, training, and opportunities to enhance their spiritual and personal growth.
PROJECT NURTURE
Nurtured Growth
Project Nurture focuses on sustainable agriculture at the Diocese headquarters, investing in poultry farms, vegetable cultivation, and garden development to support and nourish our community.
PROJECT SPARK
Interest-Free Empowerment

The project aims to remove the burden of interest-based borrowing and offer timely financial assistance to those striving to build or sustain their livelihoods.

The project also focuses on digital data collection through structured surveys, helping the Diocese maintain accurate records and insights.
